In general conditions, the maximum production admitted per hectare must be of 7.000 kg for red grapes destined to oak ageing, of 8.000 kg for red grapes destined to the elaboration of young red wines, of 9.000 kg for white grapes and of 12.000 kg for grapes destined to elaborate sparkling wines.

Now about, in those parcels destined to elaborate wines with the specific protection from the subregion named «Contraviesa-Alpujarra», the maximum production admitted per hectare must be of 6.000 kg for red grapes (with the exception of Tempranillo variety that must be of 7.000 kg), of 8.000 kg for white grapes and of 12.000 kg for grapes destined to elaborate sparkling wines.
